Great atmosphere. Menu is mostly pub style food, but the baked cod dish was excellent. Great staff, large selection of craft... beers, great specialty drink menu. Read more

Stumbled upon this bar while staying at the Hampton nearby. All I have to say is I?m bummed this place isn?t local to me! I will... forever dream about the short rib tater tot poutine. Absolutely to die for. The drinks were great and I always appreciate amocktail menu! Our waitress was great and service was fast! Read more

We actually enjoy the Rod & Rail. They have very good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Our criticism is that the menu is limited... and sometimes a bit 'meh'. Overall a great place. Read more

Traveling from out of state, this cozy gastro pub caught our eye for dinner. The Smash Burger with Cajun tater tots (and a side... of beer cheese) was scrumptious. The beer/wine menu consisted of a wide variety choices. The bartender was welcoming andaccommodating - thank you for the cranberry harvest postcards! Rod & Rail is one that I would definitely visit again if back inthe area. Read more

Called to see if they were on a wait before waking my son up in his car seat. Was told that they weren?t on a wait and had open... tables. We woke our toddler, parked the car and went inside (within 2 minutes of having the phone call). Once we talked in wewere told that they just went on a 45 min wait per the kitchen staff. They wouldn?t honor what the person on the phone had toldus 2 minutes prior- even though there was open tables. Thanks for wasting our time and leaving us with a cranky, hungrytoddler. Not a good way to take care of your locals. *Also, I work full time as a bartender so don?t hit me with the ?we areshort staffed?, that?s not acceptable in the scenario. Take care of your customers.
