One of the worst dining experiences my wife and I have had. On our anniversary we made reservations so we could have a nice... table and had to wait one hour and 20 minutes for our food. We waited one hour for the salad to be served and when our food cameThe medium rare fillet was well done and the pasta was hard as a rock. What a treat after tenting and 4-wheeling for a weekend! It's not just that I didn't have to cook over an open fire. Even if... I'd been staying at a luxury resort, the Dockside Inn Restaurant was a perfect way to end a trip. The wait staff was wonderful(Spencer was amazing!), the food was truly impressive and the ambiance, well, it just doesn't get much better than sitting inthe shade under mature trees on a deck overlooking the lake. We paired the New Zealand Haymaker Sauvignon Blanc with thecalamari and Ahi Tuna appetizers. Delish!!! That was some of the most tender calamari I've ever sampled and the dipping weredevine. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food was delicious. We had reserved tables for a party of 20 months in... advance. We were supposed to have the entire upstairs reserved for our family reunion but they double booked.and had anotherparty up there as well. We. Only had one server for our entire party and the service was sub par. Our food took 3 hours to comeout. We arrived at 630pm, ordered drinks and appetizers, some of which didn't come out until an hour later. We ordered foodaround 7pm which didn't come out until 10pm. Some food was incorrect, some food never arrived. There were no discounts offeredand all but one of the waitstaff were downstairs drinking at the bar. Sadly, we will not be returning here. If you come, keepit small. I'm very disappointed at the price we paid for the service we received. Read more
