Omg! Somebody knows how to make real BBQ! Absolutely perfect! Had a smokey taste, pulled, not pulverized, and no big pieces of... fat! The vinegar sauce complimented the pork and was fantastic, without being overly spicy. The slaw was light and refreshingwithout being drowned in mayonnaise. Hush puppies were light and crispy...and the cinnamon butter....to die for! When youreally know how to cook, you don't have to mask the food with dozens of ingredients. Simplicity is the main confidentingredient! Let me wrap this up with my thoughts on the staff. Oh how refreshing it is,, to eat in an establishment withgenuinely good and kind people. A friend was visiting from Mass. We decided to try Bennett?s. Best decision of our lives. It was the best cheeseburger and onion... rings I?ve ever had. My friend also stated she?s never had a cheeseburger so good. Our food came out hot and fresh anddelicious. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I give this restaurant five out of five. This was our first visit to Bennett's and it was absolutely delicious! It's so hard to go out to eat with kids but this little... place was perfect. We sat out back at the picnic tables. Food was so good and there wasn't any complaints! That's what we call agood night! Read more
I work here and our food is amazing and the prices are great. I really live our calabash burger and deviled crab cakes lol. It's... a great atmosphere and we play Christian music along with oldies. I have been working their for 8 months now and there is nowhere else I rather work. Read more

Wow! We have been missing out. First time here and we've been coming to Sunset and Calabash for many years, Shrimp and flounder... were delicious and lightly fried. Gorgeous, delicious french fries!
