The restaurant says it closes at 10pm on Fridays. We arrived at 8:30 pm and the staff did not want to attend us because "the... kitchen was already closed." It is a shame the place was closing so early even though the closing hour was posted at the veryrestaurant door (10pm). It really felt that they did not want to serve us. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the food and staff at Xunta. Just had a wonderful lunch and have enjoyed several... dinners there. And the best news for my husband and me is that most of the delicious, authentic menu is GLUTEN-FREE!!. G-Foptions are clearly marked on the menu (including most of the desserts). Xunta should be a destination location for people wholove good food but do not love gluten! Read more

First of all, I must compliment the very nice server. However, the food wasn't that great. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad... either. Jamon is thinner than paper. Yes, carving jamón thin could be seen as an art, but it still has to be thick enough toactually have the flavor. The key is the balance. It was much thinner than the starch that builds up around the pot when youcook oatmeal. The portions of each items were all over the place. For the similar price range tapas, I would expect to havesimilar portions. They're very very stingy with vegetable dishes. Overall, the flavor of this place doesn't wow you, it mighteven disappoint you if you're familiar with Spanish cuisine. I would only recommend if you want to have that easy-goingatmosphere while catching up with friends with some food and drinks. But if you actually want to go here for meals, think again. Read more
