Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant. We visit every time we?re in Calgary. Service is perfection, cocktails are fabulous... (best cosmo I have ever had) and the food?. Oh my goodness - AMAZING. Upscale vibe, table bread was nice, spring salad was fresh, all pastas were a bit underdone...just 2-3 minutes more would be... better. Marinara sauce delicious. Service started strong then our server disappeared and our service was eventually completed bysomeone else. Read more
We came for a celebration of a milestone during a weeknight and ordered the king crab/prosciutto sushi, crab salad, duck breast,... and lobster ravioli. In terms of the appetizers, the sushi rice was a bit too soft and too much of a focus for the sushi roll.It sometimes drowned out the fillings of the roll but where you are able to get a combination of the prosciutto and king crab,it was very flavorful and you can taste each of the components together. The crab salad was tasty but did not feel it stood outsince - I do not remember anything specific from it. For entrees, the duck breast was nice and tender but at other times, couldbe a bit too chewy. The accompanying vegetables were nicely done. The lobster ravioli was the star - it was creamy & herby andhad a good amount of lobster filling, cooked to a soft melty tenderness. The ingredients used in each of their dishes were freshand good quality. Our server was friendly and professional. Overall, this is a bit of a pricier meal but would be a nice placeto go out to for a celebration or work function. Will be back at some point to try other items on their menu! Read more
