We used to love Cora's but unfortunately we will not return anymore. Service was great but the quality of food has gone down... quite a bit through the years. Potatoes were either raw or burnt, barely seasoned, very bland food overall, even the kids barelytouched their food...I could go on but I think I'll leave it at that. Only good item was the pancakes. We made it just after the rush as we always do, and the food was fantastic as always, definitely 5 stars for the... chefs. Unfortunately our server Liann was just not present at all she got two parts of our order wrong, left dishes at our tableall through the meal, I ordered a coffee when the meal arrived and never received it till the end, never checked how we weredoing just didn't seem at all involved otherwise she spent laughing and chatting behind the counter. The last time and the only time I ate at Cora was in Quebec city, 2000. Since I moved to Calgary, I shared with my wife of 8... years that we should have breakfast at Cora since I had a good recall of that breakfast experience and wanted Tiffany to havethe same with this Calgary SE location. On Monday, July 4th at 10:am we anxiously when in for breakfast. I was tempted to writean unfavorable review but I will share with you all that the manager made it so that we will return as most people and entitieshave their ?off? days. Wonderful spot with the most lovely staff. Very friendly and so eager to help. Food is always great! Fresh and delicious but... some of their portions pack a serious appetite go for a serious walk before hand so you eat it all up :). Read more

Extremely bad restaurant, I recommend going anywhere else. 0 stars! #1 Was not greeted kindly upon arrival. #2 Once seated we... had to wait a long time for the server (name Yarisa ) to come take our order for drinks only .. we could not order food rightaway as per the server. #3 I ordered water with lemon wedge for a drink , the women gave me a dirty dirty glass and nolemon. When I asked about the lemon she ignored me. I asked her to get me a new glass of water and SHE NEVER BROUGHT ME ONE !(Going my entire meal without a drink was awful even when I asked about it multiple times ) #4 we had to wait 40 mins for ourfood. The 3 of us were on our lunch break and having spent 1.5hr here was absolutely unnecessary. #5 waitress never checked inon us while we were eating to see if we needing anything or how our food was. #6 food was terrible ! It was soggy, cold, ourfruit was warmed up and soft. #7 plate size to portion of food on the plate was deceiving. #8 extremely over priced !
