Surprising good. Food was fresh and were all in big portions. Service was fast also.
Decent sized portions, good service. Ordered about a dozen items including some dim sum and a few mains. Hot and tasty. Will... definitely be back. Easy to get to just off of 64th Ave. Read more
I really don't know why their rating is so low! After trying 90% of the Dim Sum places in Calgary this is my favorite place! ... The food is always spectacular; although half the time the service isn't great. But with food this delicious I really couldcare less. Our favorites are the Wontons in Spicy Sauce, Pork and Pork and Crab Soup Dumplings, Chiu Chow Dumplings, Salt &Pepper Squid and so many more! Read more
Came here for dim sum lunch around 11:45am on a Saturday. First impression: The first server who greeted us at the door told us... to wait for a small table by the window as those people were about to pay and leave, then a 2nd server (I think is themanager/owner) came along and tried to seat us at a table for 8-10 people. Our party was only 2 adults and 1 toddler so I toldher I'd rather wait for the smaller one, but she started saying there's 2 other people in line behind me and that they will getthe smaller table. I informed her that we arrived first how come we can't get the smaller table first? She said because we havemore people so we must get the big table. I didn't want to continue arguing so we settled for the massive round table. Food:Food came out hot and fresh, flavour was good and tasty. Didn't have any complaints regarding the taste or quality of the foodat all. The steamed rice in clay pot was a pretty big portion too. Service: They were pretty busy and there's not enough serversaround, it took us a while to flag a server down to grab us some hot sauce. But they do clean up pretty quickly, as soon as youfinish the dim sum they come and take the empty steamers away Note: They give you the bill but you have to pay at the frontcounter I would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu as my family did enjoy the food even though there wasa lack of service. UPDATE: We have now eaten there quite a few times and have tried many different dishes. EVERYTHING is delicious! All the staff... is also super friendly. This place deserves way more than 5 stars! only 5 stars because I couldn't give more. OMG, what a gem!this is by far the best dim sum we ve had in YYC, and the freshest as well. Good size servings, no filler veggies like daikon ortaro on dishes such as curry squid or beef tripe, the siu long bao were fantastic, so was the spicy wonton, and don't get mestarted on the spicy shredded beef and beef tripe, it was beyond this world! highly recommended!
