The food was decent, nothing special. The music was awesome. The drinks were great. The service was decent. We had the tomato... and bocconcini salad - it was okay. Could use a drizzle of balsamic. The brioche was delicious. Octopus and pork belly was a bitdry, could use a bit more sauce. The tuna crudo was decent. It seemed like the server wanted to get us out as quick as possible,asking if we wanted any dessert when we just started eating our 3rd and 4th plates. They also add the $10/ per person covercharge onto your bill so you are tipping on the cover charge as well. Read more
It’s like flying first class…just sit back and relax as you are transported back to the jazz era. I’d love to go... again! Music is a 5 out of 5! Check their website for the times of live music and stick around :) Most of the evening is livemusic with brief brakes for performers filled with recorded jazz playing. Food was tasty (fine dining prices.) As a non-drinker,I was disappointed in the mocktail menu…It offered beverages I believe were made with faux liquors so I wasn’t interested inhaving a beverage other than orange juice. Parking is the worst! This community offers no free parking (except one curb) and Icouldn’t even find a pay station. I’ll have to re-look but there may be a keys-please type service or other car serviceavailable. Read more
Was surprised with a beautiful Birthday dinner here. The atmosphere was wonderful, John and his band filled the evening with... recognizable songs and memorable melodies. Our server was very attentive and so nice. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was prepared andpresented perfectly , followed by a deep fried ice-cream for dessert. A fabulous evening that will definitely become a" regularspot", in the future. Alvin's is a place that makes you feel welcomed. Read more
Great atmosphere. I love the fact that there's live music programmed for the whole week and different times of the day to enjoy... it. The food is great and the service is friendly and prompt. The night we went there it was a bit packed and our reserved tablewasn't in the best location to appreciate the music entirely but we still enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended for a date nightor special occasion. This place is awesome, will definitely return. Read more

The live music was great, food that i ordeted was good but a bit on a pricier side. Definitely recommend this place for a date... night or a special occasion. My wife and I had a good time celebrating my birthday. Will definitely visit again. Read more
