Out of all the pieces of roasted pork I got today, I have only 1 piece that has crispy pork skin. Not only that, but after... weighing the whole order half my orders weight was bones(not even cartilidge). These guys are gross af. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESEGUYS. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. Rolyme, up in the NE do a really good job. You get alot of meat and protein, AND YOU AT LEASTGET THE CRIPSY PORK SKIN THAT YOU EXPECT. MARKJOELS? DISGUSTING. Their roast pork is garbage. If you are looking for a "lechon" ready to eat this is the place, authentic Philippines style l. We really like it.
Be Aware before buying a whole lechon. I ordered a whole lechon on Dec. 24, 2018 (Inside Hongkong Supermarket) for $245 they say... its big for about 20 kilos. But when we opened the box inside is lechon de leche and already stale and started to rot. Oh mygod, the taste is so bad. I complained and the guy named Eldrin, and he told us he will give us another lechon de leche which isnewly cooked we accept the bargain since we do not have any choice. I am not reconmending Mark Joel, just a waste of money. Ifyou are planning to buy a whole lechon I suggest you checked the store beside Lucky Supermarket on the 8th Ave. SE, their wholelechon there taste great!! Read more
