This is one of the best restaurants I?ve been to in the last few years. The ambiance is semi casual. The food is phenomenal.... Just me and my husband, we ordered an equivalent of a tasting menu for 2. Every dish was well thought out and executed. The bestpart was the service. Our waitress, Andrea, elevated the whole experience. She knew the menu inside out and was able to help uspick what highlight the chef?s best dishes. This is our second visit in less than a week, we are here on vacation and giving up other reservations to come back. The food... is excellent as are the cocktails. On both our visits so far we have taken our server?s suggestions and haven?t beendisappointed. Tonight, the fish head was the highlight of the night, don?t be afraid to order it - delish!!! First time at Shokunin and it didn't disappoint. Hailey was fantastic and took us on a culinary journey that left us wanting... more. Some of the favorites were the eggplant and goat cheese tempura, fried rice ball, sable fish sushi, napa cabbage, and theTataki. We had the best seats in the house right by the kitchen.
