I spent a few hours at the cafe today and they were all so kind and great to talk to, and knew so many of the customers who were... walking in. I took the cheddar scone home to have with dinner and WOW - the reviews here were not wrong. One of the best sconesI've ever had. I'd go back, not just for the scone, but also for the ambiance and to say hello! The wifi was strong but be awarethat there is no cell phone reception at all in the town. Read more

I love just under 2 hours away, but have family in the area, visit many times a year for almost 27 years now. I visited again... this past weekend and stopped here?not only was the food and service 10/10, but I really came to leave a review about running anenvironmentally-friendly business in the Upstate NY political climate. I know not everything is ~political~ but it?s really thesubtle changes like these over time that keep me hopeful sometimes.
