I have come in the past where coffee was complimentary for Seniors.Today I came in at 3:30pm and ordered the $37 stuffed... shrimp.Only one other party was eating with three waitresses I asked my waitress for my traditional roll She said they will onlygive rolls after 4 pm My order took 30 minutes Good, but a tiny portion Three Tiny shrimp with small amount of crab I wasfinished my meal before the waitress checked on me.It was 4:02 and I asked for my roll She said normally they don't do that butI could get it.Really?! Don?t know if Father?s Day was not a good day to dine at River View at the Point but the experience was less than good. Wait... staff was personable and was timely in taking our orders. Several ordered baked potatoes as a side and was informedapproximately 15-20 minutes after placing the order that they were out of baked potatoes. Our party waited over an hour for ourmeals and the food was barely warm. One person requested a bread loaf for the crab dip and was brought two biscuits. Passing through and stopped here for lunch. We ordered the crab pretzel (so good!), sangria, crab cakes with potato and macaroni... salad, shrimp basket and a slice of lemon cake. Everything was delicious! The crab pretzel was my favorite and the crab cakeswere also very good. I was torn when it came to dessert but not disappointed! The cakes and pies are baked fresh in house.
