The quality of service is impeccable ???????? Clover has cemented a reputation in Boston as a leader in the plant-based movement... promoting locally sourced, organic food. I had friendly conversation with Liz who works super hard and prepares deliciousmeals. She interacts with guests in a courteous and professional manner.???????? Manny is the manager in Clover's Cambridgelocation off Mass Ave. He is a sincere, kind man who has been with Clover for the past 4 years. It's great to know he stillloves the food! ???? I love Clover so much I would work here if given the opportunity. ??????????????? Will keep updated! Read more

This place is an old favorite, I visited again while visiting Boston. The guys behind the counter were friendly and helpful.... Beer selection was good. I went on a weekday night at dinner and it was pretty empty, I got the impression (from Google) that itmight be more of a lunch-rush kind of spot now. BBQ seitan was as good as I remember -- though do the workers get to eat thefood they serve? I ask because I got rosemary fries (a favorite) and they gave me 3 enormous sprigs of rosemary on top. Therosemary is nicer with the fries if it's crispy and present in small quantities throughout, not as a garnish. Is thefamily-feel, food-geek, experimental aspect of the organization fading? I hope not. That is what I love about clover. Read more

Loved their Sharan wrap! The decor is also pretty aesthetic.

More expensive than I expected for fast casual fare. The portions for the sandwiches were pretty filling, and I really enjoyed... the chickpea fritter. The egg and eggplant sandwich was a good breakfast dish as well, although the eggplant skin was reallyhard (too hard to bite through!). My favorite items were definitely the soups though - in particular, the corn chowder was suchan innovative choice since vegetarians can't have clam chowder! I would give the food at least a 3.5 stars. So why am I givingit 2 stars overall? Because of how terrible everything OTHER than the food was. I'm all for sustainability and have no issuewith composted utensils, enjoyed the vibe that the pinball machines lend, and am supportive of the emphasis on locally-sourcedingredients. But they take the "hipster" vibe way too far - the water machine has 3 labels, and they're all stupid. I havemultiple degrees, took a full range of chemistry courses, and still stood there way too long trying to puzzle out "CO2 H20"(bubbling water) vs "42F H2O" (cold water) vs "64F H20" (room temperature water). There's not even a ° (degree symbol) todifferentiate the temperatures from the chemical formulas. At the VERY least, they should include a "translation"/explanation onthe placard. I'm hesitant to come back due solely to their poor customer relations. Read more

Season after season Clover continues to hit the mark! Clover?s use of fresh ingredients from local New England farmers not only... makes each dish taste great, but helps support smalls businesses and the local economy. If you?ve written off vegetarian food, Iencourage you to give it one more shot here! The Chickpea Fritter is the bee?s knees. Add a soup made from scratch or a side ofrosemary fries to any order, you won?t be disappointed! Read more
