Great service terrible lighting. Not sure why that’s considered a good mood when you can barely read the menu. Wine was good... and so were cocktails, but food in general was not as great as what everyone says. Overpriced and small portions. Weird flavorcombinations don’t make this place a memorable place. Bronzino and octopus were decent. Oysters were ok. Read more

Very busy place, so I would recommend to have a reservation. Outside sitting has heaters. The food was delicious. The portions... are on the small side so I would recommend at least 4 dishes for 2 people to share. Read more

Place to go in Cambrige, Mass Av !! Very good food and the waiter was super nice with us ! we recommend this place and will come... back. One little complain: light is very very low - will be better to see better the food we are eating. Read more

Typical New American restaurant with decent food and service. My friend and I came in for dinner this past weekend. We liked... the casual and relaxed atmosphere, but it seemed a bit hectic. Our server was busy talking to other diners, so she rarely cameby our table to check on us. She was still very friendly but made everything look unorganized. While we weren't able to findanything interesting, standout dishes were the foie gras and the manti. The peach and nut toppings on the foie gras seemed towork better than other fruit and foie gras combinations I've tried. Known as the Turkish dumplings, the manti were alsosatisfying bites. On the other hand, their iconic caviar sandwich was disappointing. The combination of lukewarm caviar andtoasted bun was unremarkable, and it certainly looked better than it tasted. Other dishes including the steak tartare, mussels, and the bronzino were good, but their flavor profiles were a bit cliche. Without innovative dishes, Little Donkey certainlyfell short compared to other New American restaurantalin the city. However, they are still a solid choice for a casual night outif you don't have a huge expectation for their food. Read more
