Normally I?m skeptical of bars in hotels?however Noir is officially the exception to the rule. Nice patio that offers good food... and even better drinks! The staff have great banter as well. A solid spot in Cambridge! Read more
Decent bar in the Charles hotel.But I felt the drinks are a bit pricey for what it has to offer.
I was considerably underwhelmed. Noisy little place even when not very full. Very good service. Very mediocre food - a cheese... board of entirely uninteresting selection was served too cold, woefully ungarnished except for a plonk of overripe grapes,accompanied by overtoasted bread and insipid jam. Olives were strangely bitter. I felt like they got the concept but absolutelyfell down on the execution of what ought to be extremely simple bar food. I wouldn't have thought much of it if it wasn't ahotel once famous for its excellent food. Read more
Always love the cocktails here and fantastic service. Outdoor patio is comfy and has space heaters, complimentary blankets. Nice... because it never feels crowded. Read more

Decent cocktail bar for Cambridge. There are some unique cocktails with trendy techniques like butter washed gin. There are some... beers on tap. It?s crowded on Friday nights. You can wait or just be ignored for quite some time. There is some overflow seatinginside the hotel but outside the bar. Edit, to respond to owner: We knew we needed to place orders at the bar. The issue wasthat members of my party reported standing at the bar, making eye contact with the bartender, watching the bartender takeseveral orders and make several drinks for roughly 15 minutes.
