If a person is dining, he needs both good cuisine and good service. Why should just staff in food business be held accountable... for providing good customer service, and does the owner have the authority to mistreat customers? And by the justification thatshe was yelling at staff, because she is going through a lot? and that the way to release her frustration? wow..??? Employees(our students ), who are already struggling to make ends meet and some of whom are undoubtedly working for PR, are being treatedhorribly. A very nice place and I must say that this is the best south Indian restaurant I could find in KWC region. There are huge wait... times during rush hours but it's okay to wait and have the delicious food. Service is good as well! The special Idlis I had weresuper fresh and super tasty. Read more

Was craving some Dosa & Idli for a while, and tried out Dakshin and they did not disappoint! Great funky decorated walls, some... good old Indian music in the background and hustling & bustling of a typical Udupi restaurant in India. Food lived upto yhe highexpectations set by the ambience and my cravings! Mysore Sada Dosa - 5/5 Onion Tomato Uttappam - 5/5 Idli Sambar - 4.5/5 MangoLassi- 5/5 (actually tasted like lassi, not like a mango shake) All 3 chutneys were really good but we preferred the tomato &the white coconut chutney over the green.
