I would say the best peshawari Chapli Kabab in Canada. I was travelling from Montreal that day to try food here. I tried desi... food in from East cost to West cost and It is same taste as you get in Peshawar. The owner is very humble and he come to usdirectly for feedback. What a perfect end to the day! We were working late and cutting it close to closing time but we called ahead and the owner... agreed to stay open for us as we all rushed over to enjoy the most delicious authentic Pakistani Karahi chicken dinner ever! Wewere warmly greeted and enjoyed our drinks while the food was being prepared. As soon as the kitchen doors opened, we knew thatwe were about to begin a feast! The karahi chicken looked as appetizing as it smelled and was even more delicious! But deliciousin a way that tasted authentic and genuine like a grandmother would make at home not like a typical restaurant dish. The rotiwas incredibly satisfying, warm and cottony to soak up all of the delicious sauce accompanying the chicken. The chapli kebab wasabsolutely perfectly prepared crispy on the outside but still juicy and succulent on the inside and perfectly seasoned. But themeal was not over yet, the owner generously brought out four hot teas for us on his compliments from the house to let us enjoyand digest our meal! This was one of the most delicious karahi meals I've ever had and although I'm not an expert, our dearPakistani friends concur that this is a truly deserving FIVE STAR Google review restaurant and a true gem in Cambridge! Came here on someone?s recommendation . Tried the chappal kabab, which was fresh and flavourful but their wraps were squishy... and mediocre at best. Requested for a half karahi and was told that lamb was finished ( it?s 5 pm on a Sunday afternoon) andwhen we asked for chicken , we were told that we had to order a ?full? karahi because they don?t make half on weekend . Doesn?tsay that on their menu. The pizza too was a pass. Perhaps the most disappointing thing was their naan. A staple in Peshawaricuisine, they were serving Pita bread with the kabab , and in their wrap. Perhaps there is aa dearth of halal Pakistanirestaurants in Cambridge which may explain for all incoming business. Overall a rather shoddy and very lazy attempt . Such a welcoming and nice place. Not just that owner himself take time out and make sure that food is served fresh. As far as... food is concerned, the quality, taste, presentation at par the expectation. Genuine authentic Peshawari food. Initially wegoogled for this place didn?t hear or know about it at all, we just went there and spoke to the guy at the front, after havingto eat there I can confidently say it was the best decision. I strongly recommend this place if you?re looking for genuine andtasty food served fresh. I also recommend that you call a head of time if you?re very hungry.
