We ordered a small wedding cake here. The staff was so kind in helping my partner and I! We scheduled a cake tasting first... which was very inexpensive. We picked a variety of flavors first over the phone, set the date, and 2 weeks later we were theretrying yummy cupcake sized samples. Afterward, a worker came over and she talked with us about what we liked most. They alsogave us free coffee to wash it all down which was great! We chose 2 tiers with the bottom tier being 10", and it fed ourelopement size party of 20 people well (with leftovers too). We wanted real flowers, which we brought to the bakery the nightbefore the wedding. The cake turned out beautifully, and we could not have been happier. As a queer couple, it was my fear thatwe would have an experience of getting turned away or treated badly when trying to find someone to make our cake. Thank youPennsylvania Bakery! Wow! Haven?t had one item here that I have not fully enjoyed. Just got a birthday cake for my partner?s mom and she loved it!... From the beautiful smooth icing to the smell to the moist cake. We are very pleased! I got my grandma and grandpa a brownie cakeitem (forget what it was called) and my grandma called me raving about how amazing it was and how you knew it came from a goodbakery. I can?t say you will be disappointed in anything you get here. I?ve tried a lot of items over the past two weeks and Iam impressed each time Also, all the workers I have met have been nothing short of kind and welcoming. Have bought many items from here sense we found them a couple of months ago. The sugar cookies are my favorite! Just the right... amount of crunch and the taste is awesome, icing is great also. We just had them make a cake for us and wow they didn?tdisappoint! It was yellow cake mix with raspberry filling and extra flowers. Very beautiful and the flavor was out of thisworld. They have some great decorators and know what they are doing. Good details in the icing. The also have some very goodbreads they baked. The mozzarella and pepperoni bread is great. Pepperoni has just a hint of spice and they put a good amount ofmozzarella in it. Bread itself has just the right amount of denseness to it and a slight crunch. Perfect! Do not be in a rushwhen you go in! It?s usually pretty busy and a lot of people milling around. Just grab a number and peruse the merchandise.
