It was Devon and I?s wedding weekend, and Nathalie and Bryan were so amazing accommodating for some hiccups that went On, like... all weddings have. We got to enjoy our day and enjoy the cabins and family all in one place. Everything was in walking distance.The golf course was so fun to get a few rounds in. I'll begin by saying that I really want to give it a good review, so much so that we have tried three times in the past 12... months. The food is good. The view of the marina is beautiful in all seasons. That's kind of where it ends. The servicetakes an hour on a slow night and up to 2 hours for a busy evening. Much of the time they don't have a 1/4 to 1/3 of what's ontheir menu and sometimes the servers dont seem to know until way after you've put your order in. Sometimes the service is okayand other times the poor servers have no idea what is happening or how to provide basic table service (such as setting the platedown in front of the person, opening a bottle of wine,etc). Overall it tries to do well but doesn't take the time to trainstaff, order a sufficient amount of food for their kitchen and definitely service for getting a meal is very delayed. My friends and I stayed in the poplar cabin over the weekend and we were pleasantly surprised of how clean and spacious it is.... It is everything you need and more in a cabin get away! The restaurant was very good. Everyone we spoke to was polite andhelpful. I will come back again in the summers to come and I would love to go in the winter as well. Read more
