Wonderful hotel and restaurant. The food is delicious and service was great! Very charming and cozy stay. The building has a lot... of character which we loved! The Georgetown Inn and Pub was an awesome getaway to the mountains this weekend. Amazing cozy old English style rooms and... incredible English cuisine. From Stuffed Yorkshire pudding, English style fish and chips and their chicken pot pie. You cannotgo wrong staying in this hidden gem. Live music on the weekends in their English style pub. ???? The waiter was lovely, great guy. The rest...Well it's a British menu and I am British. Yorkshire pudding was soft, not crispy... as it should be, tasted microwaved. The fish and chips was a joke, tiny piece of fish not even half a fish... and chips notthick cut as a British menu would demand. Cocktails don't even try... Beer was nice though so well done for the partnership withFernie brewery. Also way too much light, was like eating inside a hospital ward. Stayed one night at the Inn and had breakfast at the Pub! First: a 5 star, absolutely unique and attentive hotel. I LOVED every... second of my stay: from exploring the many antiques displayed throughout the property to the quaint little room with the mostheavenly bed and comfortable pillows ever. I had the best sleep in a while and the place was so peaceful. Representatives atthe Front Desk are the kindest people who were all smiles when they welcomed my mom and me. Everything about this hotel isCHARMING! The pub was staffed by the most talkative and bubbly server from Halifax who was really helpful with tips aboutCanmore. Breakfast was top notch! Very cute and cozy type of Victorian style house. Has some history on plagues on each floor. Staff was very friendly and... accomdondating as well. Has one restaurant but has an outdoor patio with a fireplace as well. A swing for children we alsonoticed. I was beyond excited and pleased that with the new owners or management had honored with NO questions asked of a giftcertificate that was a number of years old. Bless them and the customer service they had displayed. Would recommendabsolutely! Read more
