Amazing food and customer service! We got the mix and match appetizer with mushrooms, pickles, and jal. Poppers sooo good the... fried pickles were so delicious and crispy! I had the bacon cheeseburger for my meal and loved it! Not only was it a hugeburger, but it was definitely made in house, the meat was so juicy and flavorful and bun toasted to perfection. This is a great place to have a delicious burger, fries, and onion rings. Fresh and very tasty, food. Four of us were looking... for a place to get a good hamburger at Canyon Lake. We Googled and we were directed to the Front Porch Grill. Don't expect awhite linen table cloth and napkins. Don't expect air conditioning or fancy restrooms with an attendant. You'll get great,friendly service, reasonable prices, covered patio seating with several fans, a port-a-potty restroom, and the best hamburgeryou'll find anywhere. The day we were there it was in the upper 90°s but it was very comfortable there on the patio. I can'tcomment on their other food items because we've only been there one time. We ate here once while intown to float the river. They have tons of burger options and all of them sound good... Especially if... you like BIG burgers. They grind their own meat daily from beef brisket. The burger I ordered tasted good, but it was less thanjuicy. I could almost imagine the cook back there pressing the meat into the grill with a weighted spatula. The eating area isoutside and REALLY dirty. This place is a dive, that's for sure. Read more
