Not vegan friendly at all. Even the beans have lard in them, leaving very few options for vegans and vegetarians. I had the... guacamole (which is literally just avocado, without any other vegetables or spices) and mixed it with their pico (hoping to addsome flavor) and chips and it was far below average. Might be good for omnivores, but if you're veg- find somewhere else. Read more
They give you chips and salsa on the side so i usually get a dontaco(bean cheesetomato lettuce rice steak chicken shrimp)bowl it... comes with sourcream on the side ask for 3 corn tortillas and limes on the side, use the silverware to put the bowl stuff on thetortillas and squeeze that fresh lime and put some of the cerde/salsa/sourcream. The service was okay. The lady at the counter forgot to pass our order to chef. We waited more than 30 mins just to know that... our order is not in the kitchen yet. Place was good lots of space to dine in. Food is okay, tried tacos and burritos. Read more
Today was the first time I ate at Don Taco. I went in the afternoon on a Thursday to get takeout. The inside of the restaurant... was very clean, and the staff were kind and receptive to me. The music playing inside was a little too loud. The order tookabout 15 minutes to prepare and the customizations were made correctly. As for the food: I got a steak burrito combo. The steakhad a good flavor but was a bit chewy and dry; I've found a pattern of that at Mexican places ordering steak/beef so it is notwhy I removed a star. The rice and beans were mediocre, though, and I found the frijoles to have too much cheese or sauce (can'ttell) in them. The combo meal was $10.50 and came with a drink. Overall, it's a good deal for the amount of food but you shouldtry the rice and beans first to see if you like them. I would go back and try more of the menu. Read more
