Was really excited to try this place out and was sadly disappointed. The atmosphere was good, service was ok. The food had the... potential to be good, but was a complete miss.. The portion size of the meals were generous and pleasant to the eyes. Thehamburger steak I ordered had a good flavor, but was tough, overcooked, and served barely warm. My mashed potatoes, gravy, andmac n'' cheese were cold. All lacked flavor. I really disliked the food being served in disposable plastic for dine in. Myfriend ordered a cup of gumbo, that was mediocre at best. It had one tiny chunk of chicken and one sliver of sausage. Not worth$7, very disappointing. His burger was way overcooked and his fries were a soggy mess. He is a big eater and left half the foodin the basket. Frustrating to pay $42 for a meal that was not good. Read more
Food and service at Swanky's is exceptional. As of this past Friday, and Saturday they are now serving boiled crawfish beginning... at 5:00 PM. My opinion the flavor is the best in town. I would highly suggest that people try all food types at their location. Read more
