I come up to Caribou every few years to visit family and stopping here during the summer season is a must! My only complaint... would be to make a bigger size sign that it is cash or local checks only. The sign is very small and could only be seen once Ireached the window to order. Luckily I did have some cash in my car, other wise I was going to be dealing with 3 upset kids, onebeing a toddler who had no time or care to understand the cash only deal. Read more
Ice cream is mighty tasty, and prices are quite reasonable.
When we visit family in the summer, we MUST go to Houlton Dairy Farms for ice cream. Upside Down Sundae with peanut butter fudge... is a favorite of mine. Others we love: Razzmatazz, Grape Nut and chocolate hard serve. Look how huge the large ice cream conesare! Please note, they only take cash or local checks.
