I had an excellent lunch experience here. I usually forgo the hibachi in a US Japanese restaurant, in favor of the sushi if they... have it, or even better, a bento box and lunch. Shiro of Japan was my favorite restaurant growing up so I was very excited to see it is still there on my recent business trip... to Long Island. It was everything I remember and I am so glad I drove out to Old Country Road for dinner. The chef wasentertaining and the food was delicious. Great spot for a hibachi lunch and if hosting a small birthday party it will fit your needs. Our chef was awesome, experienced... and funny. The food was delicious. We had a couple of people with egg allergies and they catered for it. The steak and shrimpwas cooked perfectly for my liking and my cousins had lobster and scallops which were cooked well. It was just right. For theprice it was on par with similar restaurants. The entire staff was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. The drinks were onpoint according to my aunt.
