Camping at killbear and popped over to Gillly?s for dinner. We all ordered fish and chips, very large pieces of fish and tasted... very fresh. Large outdoor patio to eat outside. After dinner went downstairs to store for ice cream for dessert. Read more
Arrived on a weekday without a reservation (the website states that only 50% of seats can be reserved) and were seated promptly.... The caesar was extremely tasty, not so much the garlic bread. The whitefish and fries arrived prompt. The fish wasdelicious. However, the fries were not at all warm. They could best be described as cool to the touch. I didn't mention itto the server because the fish portions were so large and filling that I wasn't going to eat the fries anyway. So, overallimpression was that the fish is not to be missed. Highly edible food! The seafood chowder I ordered had one bite of seafood and 85% undercooked potatoes, the broth was rather... more on the liquid end, bland. The garlic bread was like a chain pub quality, didn?t really fit the theme. However fish andchips were impeccable, white fish is what you wanna order here. It wasn?t greasy, fries were good $27 for two very dense filletsand it was worth it. Read more
