Alice and Franco at the Carlsbad location made the experience positive and so fun for the kids. Unfortunately, the event person... you book with over email that covers multiple locations was not friendly and even condescending when asking questions aboutbooking the birthday party. We almost didn?t go through with the reservation due to her curtness but glad we did. The staff wereawesome! Read more
Our family loved racing at K1 Speed in Carlsbad. Friendly staff took care of us and our kids and ensured we had a great time. We... also liked that the karts are electric instead of the older gas powered ones. Instant torque and no breathing fumes! The staffwas really careful with the younger racers, gave them a full briefing on how to drive the cars, answered their questions, andmade sure they were safe. The Jr racers have smaller karts and race separately from adults. The only downside was frequentslowdowns due to other drivers. It's pretty frustrating when you're on track for a great lap time and the staff has to switcheveryone to slow mode for a caution. But that's how they keep everyone safe, and they're pretty good at it. I wish they'd givea couple of extra laps if there are a lot of cautions during a race. Read more
My son and I had a very great experience at K1 Speed. This was our first time there and I noticed the staff?s number one... priority was safety. They made sure we understood how to properly operate their race cars and they even checked to ensure ourseatbelts were placed on our body properly. The staff was very nice and generous and answered any questions my son and I had.Customer service seems to be a thing of the past, but I must say the Staff at K1Speed has customer service down to a science. This place is awesome! Our 6 year old is very interested in racing and we were nervous to get him started. The staff was... OVERWHELMINGLY welcoming, patient and kind to us. I say we were overwhelmed because it really was above and beyond!! A specialthank you to Frankie who even remembered my sons name at our second visit!!!
