I've been looking for a place that has a good Chicken fried steak. We came to visit family and they took us to this restaurant.... The fried fish and the chicken fried was out of this world. Real friendly employees and clean. Would recommend this place. Read more
The Dirty Chips were worth the Lactaid required to eat them! You can?t beat housemade chips. The Notorious P.I.G. was a... delicious pork sandwich. The rest of the family ordered hamburgers they said were a bit salty. Our server wasn?t very attentive,we retrieved all of our own napkins, utensils, and to-go boxes. Overall, we?d eat there again. Walked in for lunch on a weekday, the place was pretty packed. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated which was reasonable since... they were full. The server was incredibly sweet, personable, and attentive. The menu had a nice variety of meals that jump outand grab your attention. I chose The New Mexico Fish & Chips and my guest went with The Bohemian sandwich. We were givencomplimentary chips and salsa as we waited for our meals. The restaurant had an old rustic feel to it. As my guest and Ichatted, we were attacked by mad annoying flies which was hugely annoying. Food was served in a reasonably fast manner. Theportions are HUGE!!! You definitely won't leave this place feeling hungry. The food looked exactly as it does in the menupictures, incredible presentation. Taste wise...I was let down. My fish breading was good but there was way more breading thanactually fish. My fries were super salty and hard. Maybe because I wasn't that hungry but I just picked at my food. We devoured the dirty chips before I had a chance to take a picture. Whatever you do, make sure you get these! They were... amazing. The NM catfish was also excellent as was the fries and onion rings. Both burgers at our table had been ordered mediumand came out well done so that was disappointing. Ordered steak and grilled Shrimp with loaded fries. The waitress was amazing and sweet. The steak was a little charred but still... very good. It was already the last hour before they closed and they did not hesitate to find us a seat and get us taken care of. The salad was very refreshing. The jalapeño ranch was very tasty. The restaurant itself has a very cool atmosphere. Nicsparking available across the street. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Bathrooms were very clean aswell. Service was great!
