Wow I mean WOW best shortbreads I've had in forever lemon lavender for the win! An the jalapeno gougere was NICE!!
I'm not one to write many reviews, especially not negative ones...but this place was such a disappointment that it had to be... said. The price points lend you to believe you'll be getting something delicious, alas that isn't the case. We ordered the eggsBenedict and ham quiche. The Benedict's only redeeming quality was the pickled red onions. The eggs were baked? Whatever theywere, they weren't poached. The cheese and English muffin were cold. Cutting into the quiche caused it to crumble as it wasmostly cubed ham and asparagus pieces- not enough egg to hold it together. Also served slightly warmer than room temp. We askedfor salt and pepper, expecting such a pricey place to have a pepper mill but were given salt and pepper sachets like you'd getwith a hospital meal. We ordered a gorgonzola and a mushroom truffle guerre as we were leaving, hoping to get something wortheating. Disappointed again. To be fair, there were two young people (teenagers perhaps) running the place, likely doing the bestthey could with what they had. That being said, when I go out for a meal, especially a pricey one, I want it to be better thanwhat one might be served at a kids lemonade stand. Unrelated to the food, but the bathroom was terribly dusty. Sorry to be soruthless, but I figured I should mention all of the reasons why I'm giving it 3 stars. Lots of room for improvement. The Eppi is my favorite! Lots of great pastries. Was bummed to find that my expensive latte was actually made as a cappuccino.... They're pricey but most things have been really tasty and the service has improved since moving to the new location. Read more
Great food here, and a nice selection of local food gifts. Indoor and outdoor seating, and located next to a lovely park.... Surprise... the tile in the bathroom is the same that I have in my master shower! Super cool to run into it here ???? Read more
