Very good food and quality service! The place was clean and well kept! The employees were kind, caring, and fast! Highly... recommend!! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich combo with fries. The fries were hot and fresh, although I wish they had somemore seasoning. The pulled pork was delicious! It had a good texture and consistency. You are given three choices for sauce:sweet, tangy, and spicy. I chose tangy, which was one of the best barbeque sauces I've had in a long time. It wasn't too sweetand still had a bit of heat to it. Over 20 years ago there was a Great BBQ place off 71st and Shadeland called GT South. Their food was Amazing, and all of my... co-workers patronized this restaurant all week long. It was nothing new to hear the group gather for lunch and hear someonesay, "GT South for lunch?" Everyone would say yes and off we would go for a great meal! Imagine my joy when I found out attaste of Carmel that GT South has been reborn as Rackz right here in Carmel. The BBQ is as good if not better than I remember,and the staff is friendly, knows their product, and the service is as amazing as the food, and trust me, that's sayingsomething! The pulled pork is tender, the brisket is savory and delicious, and the sauces are absolutely delicious. Rackz BBQ has always been the best in the area, but something has changed recently. We ordered three pounds of brisket and they... only delivered one pound. (The delivery service did give me a credit for what was missing.) However, the brisket that wasdelivered tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. There was no smoke ring, spices, or flavor at all. It was bad. We haveordered from here at least 20 times and always had amazing food, but something is wrong and they need to correct it. Read more
