This place rocks. In the height of COVID when all of the libs wanted to take precautions to keep 'all of their loved ones from... getting sick and dying', the GOAT was at FULL CAPACITY. Not only that, the restaurant owners didn't care at all about wearingmasks! I went from being yelled at all day in public for not wearing a chin daiper, to walking into a restaurant that embracedme for it. I grew up in New York, and the restaurant staff made me feel right at home. They carry themselves with a 'get ityourself and shut up' type of vibe. I don't need anyone apologizing for giving me my food cold or even on time. I mean heck, most of the time I didn't even eat it anyway, because it tasted like it had already been regurgitated. But I think we all knowthat's not the real reason I came to the GOAT. I come for the women. The one thing this restaurant and I have in common, is thatwe both don't have any standards. This was the only restaurant to stay open long enough for there to even be a chance that Icould get to go home with someone. Half of the time though, we just ended up hooking up in the parking lot, or in theneighborhood, since I still live with my parents. I am very sad to see this place go. Read more

I generally don't write reviews, but it was that bad. This place has really terrible service. We had to ask several people to... even get a menu. We were being served by two servers at one point (totally fine, there was a lot going on and we appreciated thehelp) so at the end of the night we wanted to make sure we didn't get double charged for drinks. We politely tried to let ourmain server know that we'd already paid for 2 drinks on a different check, and he freaked out and YELLED at someone in ourparty. On top of that, we received several drinks in plastic cups with holes in the cups. It took forever to get any food. Theywere way understaffed. Not even the bartenders were wearing masks. We will never be back. Read more

Nice spot in downtown Carmel with great out door seating. I would of gave a 5 but we went for food and they said they ran out... and was hungry. I wish they would of told us before we had ordered drinks which took forever to get because they were busy. Butit is a cool spot and drinks were good. Read more

Pros: I love the location. Nice clean building. Wait staff was fantastic. The curly fries are unique and awesome and the space... heaters felt great after the chili night. Cons: they didn't have the beers that I wanted to try so I tried something else thisis totally forgivable but it was definitely not something to write home about at least on the draft side. But I do not at allrecommend getting the food there we paid $10 for a burger that couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 oz and this is probably theonly place I've been that made me think fondly of nachos from public school. Nothing about it was warm and the meat was anythingbut seasoned. I love the owners however and I am hoping this is just growing pains but price we paid for what we got is thepart that I found most troubling. Way way too expensive especially for disappointing quality. I wish them well though and againI hope these are just growing pains brockway is one of my absolute favorite places so I have faith in them. Read more

I was so excited for this spot to open. The location is incredible and the space offers a lot. Unfortunately, my positive... sentiments end there. I have been to The Goat twice now and it is unlikely I will return. As a big fan of Brockway Public House,I had high hopes for this place since it is under the same ownership. I would rather drive 10 minutes to Brockway than walkacross the street to this place. Everything is vastly over priced - I am talking $8+ for a domestic beer in a bottle. The foodis extremely lackluster and also very expensive. Staff has never been outstandingly good or bad, but no one is wearing a mask! Iwalk by almost every day and this place is constantly stuffed with people. I am so surprised that they have not incurred anysort of penalty for their blatant disregard for public safety. Very disappointing. Read more
