If you are in the Carnation area Blake's is a must. They have amazing grinders, pizza salad and ice cream. The owners are the... best as is all of the staff at Blake's. You can even grab food to go and head down to the river or feeling the heat head overfor ice cream. The t-ferno grinder is my favorite or if you like spicy try the Sophie's infernal pie...I add pineapple to mineand order there blue cheese dressing for dipping. Oh and did I mention they even have water for your fur baby who can join youat the outside seating area. Read more

Blake's is intimate, old-timey, and charming, with exactly 3 indoor tables. Specializing in pizza, grinders (sandwiches), and... ice cream; this is an excellent stop for a quick pick-me-up lunch. Pizza slices are giant, so large that the cashier thoughtthat ordering 2 slices meant one for each of us. Available toppings are abundant, with at least 20 for you to choose from. Iordered a meatball sub which came with chips and a pickle. The sub was toasted crisp, meatballs soft and tender with herbs mixedin, and topped with cheese, onions, and peppers.
