Hurricane alleys is a great location looking out over Carolina beach. Nice setting although way too hot on a summers afternoon.... No shade or fans make for an unpleasant time. We went again one evening and it was beautiful. Service was with a smile howeverthe 1 waitress was definitely over burdened trying to serve everyone. Food was average at best. The famous crab dip was ok(mostly a mayo and tinned crab kinda deal) with too few pita breads to really enjoy. Sharing with three people was a challenge.The shrimp tacos were good. We decided to also try the hurricane shrimps and they were alright- a little too sweet overall. Anice place but could do with some cleaning up and a few umbrellas and fans. Read more
We loved Hurricane Alley?s! We ate here several times during our stay in Carolina Beach. It?s on the boardwalk, close to the... beach, and delicious. You can?t go wrong with the Peel and Eat Shrimp and the Ahi Tuna Board is fantastic! The staff is superfriendly, even during a downpour! A must try in Carolina Beach! Read more
We arrived shortly after 9:30pm for something to eat and drink. Somewhere around 9 they switched to a "late night" menu which... still had some good items to choose from. They were out of a few things at the time that bummed us out, but we chose thesouthwest egg rolls and hush puppies. Both were delicious and didn't make us regret choosing them.
