I had catfish. It was mushy inside. Chicken fried steak appeared to be a frozen option. We wont be going back. I tipped 20%... because it is not her fault. I should have gone to Grandma's Cafe based on MY mom's cooking. Had high hopes but just didnt workout this time. Will continue to try and support small businesses. Read more
GREAT little mom & pop place with an ideal kids menu. If you’re looking for somewhere that has all brand new, state of the art... griddles, etc. you’ll be out of place here. It’s cared for, tidy & surviving in a tough economy with friendly staff. Nosigns of stains or miscellaneous residue on silverware plates or anything was found. The food nailed that home-cooked feel. Very filling and simple with familiar flavors. Service was extremely quick and attentive... and they made sure we always had what we needed. The only complaint I have was a weird smell, but within a few minutes webecame nose blind and it had no impact on our meal. Overall, a great place to stop by and eat if you're in the area. Read more
