I?ll start off by saying I love A&W, am a HUGE Fan and eat it regularly. I have never had a bad experience with an A&W until... this location? this A&W location puts the others to shame? We stopped a couple months ago and there were people inside yet therewas a sign on the door stating that drive thru only? I had a newborn with me and needed to use the washroom to change him. I wasjust going to change him & eat in the car? but the drive thru was also blocked off? we watched many cars come and go as it wasLunch time on a weekend? what a loss of money A&W and experienced on that one? Today we stop and decide to go thru the drivethru? there were no cars in the parking lot and 2 people eating inside? maybe that should have alerted us to how terrible thislocation is? They were out of CO2; so our options with apple and orange juice? who the heck wants A&W without A&W rootbeer, butwe were commited at this point, ordered 2 chicken burgers & 2 onion rings.. which came to $30+? we get to the window of theNEARLY empty location and wait 15 minutes for our food. The employee working must?ve been high as he wished us a happy easter onSeptember 10th. We pull into the parking lot to eat and it was obvious that these has been sitting.. the onion rings had next toknow breading left on them and were burnt and coated in oil? I can only imagine they were already prepared and thrown back intothe fryer to warm up? they also weren?t seasoned at all? They turned one of my favourite things into a disgusting mess?. Theyalso supplied us with fries randomly in our bag? which would?ve been nice? if they weren?t pure oil and unsalted? ? We usecasselman as our stop point between 2 locations on our regular drive? and we will NEVER stop at this A&W location again? it?sunfortunate as we would prefer A&W to Mcdonalds anyday of the week?. On 4 sept i ordered uncle burger with cheese and bacon combo and never got the cheese or bacon and i ordered a chicken strip... combo and i did not get fries or sauce! So embrum A&W from this day forward plus i will always check my order from now on as youcant trust employees to follow simple direction! Read more
Very dirty, awful service, food was gross, employees playing instead of serving and waiting 40 min for our gross meal! Waist of... money! DO NOT RECOMMEND! The tables were so sticky that the napkins we used to clean it stayed stuck on it! Read more
Very disappointed... we stopped to get lunch and use the washrooms... everything was was dirty from the front door to the... bathrooms... the cleanliness level at this restaurant needs to be looked at by A&W (with the different viruses running around,you'd think this would be a priority for a restaurant. Even without the viruses, this place was visibly very dirty). To top itoff, my wife slipped and fell to the dirty floor as she walked in a puddle of some type of drink that had been spilled on thefloor right by the cash register and no one had cleaned it up for a while... not even cleaned up after my wife had the time togo take care of her hurting ankle and clean up at the dirty washroom and come back. We had to tell the cashier twice that it wasa dangerous place for someone (especially elderly people) to slip and hurt themselves... (yes, my wife's ankle is stillhurting...).
