Not too many places serve mochi donuts, let alone advertise them in their name. Unfortunately, the donuts don't live up to this... top billing. Having tried a half-dozen ($18) with six different varieties (they have seven options total), it's clear that theoverall flavor is just bland. While the texture is nice, each has only a thin layer of frosting on top that might as well justbe different food colorings, because they all tasted the same. No reason for me to give it anything less than 5 stars. I got the matcha strawberry latte with egg pudding and oat milk. No... complaints. I like that there was a balance between the strawberry and matcha. The mochi donuts were also good. I didn't get a"chalky" taste as other reviews have pointed out ???? Maybe it depends on the batch?
