We got like 4 things for about $46, not worth it. Got a carrot cake to eat inside, and the frosting was hard, employee said its... suppose to be that way, uh no. Didnt have any different coffee's. We wanted Colombian bc we r colombian, which again theyspelled wrong, and didn't have that, only a german kind i think. Small was like $5, not worth it, bread pudding was blan, sconewas $6, not worth it. Everything in there is expensive, and not good. Really should taste your product, and definitely haveproducts to serve you customers. This must be one of the hidden gems of Cave Creek. It has a small store front so it is easy to pass by if you are not looking... for it. Inside, which is not so small, you can find a large selection of sweet and savory pastries, gourmet pasta and drinks.Pastries have a rich European look and taste. My wife ordered a $90 custom vanilla/yellow birthday cake with raspberry filling in between layers and milk chocolate... buttercream frosting for a visiting out of town BD guest. When we cut into cake the next night after her birthday dinner, it waschocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting between layers and all over. Owner will not acknowledge it was the wrong cake andrefund money so my wife took the chocolate cake back to their store to show them. Clerk was nice and got owner on phone butowner won?t do anything. If you have your heart set on one particular item, go early. The place is popular and things sell out. The time I?ve been lucky... enough to get the quiche it was excellent. We stopped in for pasta (also excellent). Baked goods were delicious and beautiful. Taking COVID seriously? encouraging masks as risks increase which I appreciate. Happy to support a local business.
