Wow, talk about ambiance! This place is extraordinary! The décor is amazing, the staff was friendly and the food? Amazing! I... had the Enchiladas in Mole Sauce and was really blown away. Highly recommended. Avoid the rubber band special though (haha).Thanks again guys. Read more
Visit if looking for an upper-scale Mexican restaurant that mixes with a hip American vibe. Highly decorated day of the dead... ambiance, evening live music, medium to high tier Mexican food, mid-high price, friendly hosts. Competent/fast/friendly waitstaff. Everything was well done, with the exception of one skirt steak dish. I assume certain dishes are hit or miss, but thesalsa sampler, chicken/beef enchiladas, and tacos were all good enough. Mexican with a flare...Is how I would describe Ofrenda. The food is DELICIOUS and the restaurant decor is IMPRESSIVE. We... literally came back for seconds the next day. The style and decor is fashionable and modern. The wait staff was good howeverplease note we visited during slow times. I can't comment on what the experience would be like during the rush hours. I have a new favorite restaurant in Cave Creek! We tried Ofrenda for lunch today for the first time, and everything from start... to finish was executed flawlessly. After reading through some of the negative reviews I can just say we arrived early for lunch,we were given plenty of attention, and the food was beyond delicious. The restaurant itself is a work of art, loved seeing allof the beautiful artwork and the tequila room. Highly recommended, but if going in the evening when they’re more busy I wouldrecommend bringing a bag full of patience. I did not receive anything for writing this five star review, just supporting ourlocal businesses in Cave Creek! Update April 11, 2022. Restaurant changed hands today. What a cool place. Their food was amazing and so were the margaritas. The margaritas were made with fresh fruits… what! Such a... difference. I loved the atmosphere and the customer service. This is more traditional authentic Mexican food and will be cominghere when craving Mexican. It beats el encanto hands down. Read more
