We went during lunch, which we thought was a good idea because they have a smaller portion (and cheaper) lunch menu. However... when we asked to substitute rice for noodles and substitute the salad for soup, we were charged extra for both. It ended upbeing as expensive as a fully priced dinner, but we received less food overall. Our server did not come around often- probablydue to short staffing- but she was not very nice. Read more
Sakura was very nice, the initial wait for a server after being sat felt a bit long. The meal consisting the soup, the salad and... main course were delightful. Our kids went with us one got sushi which he enjoyed and the other got a hibachi meal which alsoconsisted of soup, salad and main course all of which was enjoyed to my knowledge. Read more
We have really enjoyed this place for many years. The food is still really tasty. However, our service left something to be... desired this time. I know they have a lot of new people and they're hard to come by now. My big complaint is the chef came outbefore the salads or appetizers arrived. I hope they get the staff trained up and organized. SO GOOD! I loved the Hibachi Chicken, the chef was funny and friendly. A 15 minute wait on a Tuesday evening, not bad at all.... Although the restaurant was very hot, with fans planted around the restaurant... there is no way I will hold that against theSakura team; they cannot control the weather, and they were certainly trying their best.
