Tacos are great! Dont get the shrimp gumbo by itself. It's a very small portion for over $7. Think a small soup side at a normal... restaurant. I won't be buying it again, but the tacos are great and the combos with gumbo are more worth it! Read more

Rating the Cedar Park location 3 stars due to mixed experiences. The first time we went was three days ago during a... thunderstorm. The cashier was a super sweet woman who even offered complementary drinks due to the wait! Service and food wereawesome and we had a wonderful experience for our first visit! Come back two days later, completely different vibe and staff. Iwas the only one in the restaurant and stood at the register for a few minutes while workers were laughing and hanging out inthe kitchen. I had to give my correct order to a different cashier (younger girl) three times, but the food was still madequick. Arrived home and tacos were not what I ordered, and I had to pay again for the extra taco that was missed on my originalorder (I don?t even know if it was for the right one?) This second visit was super disappointing given the wonderful firstvisit I had at this location. I?ll be waiting a while to go back again but still recommend this location based on food quality. We had an absolutely terrible experience this evening. First, I just don?t think this restaurant is capable of handling a larger... group. We only had 9 people, 7 adults and 2 children, and they were completely frantic and frazzled handling our table. Thewaiter took over 20 minutes to take our simple order. Food started coming out before we were even finished ordering (that was afirst), so no one at the table would be able to eat at the same time. We asked multiple times for chip refills and drinkrefills, but didn?t get them until asking to speak with a manager. The manager somewhat helped get the food out so we couldattempt to eat together, but some of it ended up being cold and incorrect anyway. The worst part of the meal was trying to pay.It took over 35 minutes just to pay and try to get out the door. Not only were all the tickets wrong, but every time we askedour waiter a question about what was wrong, he had to run to the manager at the bar to get help. The manager was apparently theonly one at the bar, and at that point seemed to care much more about serving drinks to the bar then helping our waiter. Infact, the manager didn?t seem to care about our table at all at that point. He never came to help our waiter with our bill (whoclearly needed more training and assistance with his job) and he didn?t even attempt to come talk to us or apologize for theawful experience. We ended up paying more than we should have because we had 2 young children and couldn?t wait anymore to getthem home. I?ve never had such a bad experience at a restaurant before, and we definitely will not be back after this. It?sunfortunate, but there?s too many young and inexperienced staff at this location with a manager who was less than helpful. Itseems they need new management that is willing to help employees do their jobs effectively and care less about selling alcoholat the bar.
