When I pick a non-american cuisine I like when it feels like going on a microscopic (mostly imaginative) vacation. Our visit to... Soto gave that little feeling of traveling to Japan. Although I am yet to visit, I imagine it to be a place where food preparedwith care for details, traditions, simplicity of the ingredients, and creativity. Every dish presentation and taste was spoton. Be prepared for a heavy bill, tho, which came close to a 100 for tea, sushi, appetizer, and a tempura. Read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. Went there to celebrate my birthday. We made an online reservation. Upon arrival, the... host immediately took us to our table and that's where the problems started. When we got to the table, the waiter was sittingon the table. My request to change the table was denied due to the fact that the restaurant is very busy. Although there wereat least 4 tables free and there were no visitors after us. They don't do anything when you come to celebrate special dates. Which is very upsetting. Food was great. Delicious appetizers. The best rolls I’ve ever tried. Drink was ok. Nothingspecial.
