I love Cedarburg and I was really excited to see this New Mexican restaurant that I had not seen before so I went in and let me... tell you this isn't your typical Mexican food but it was so good!I'm going to be going there again and this time I'm going tohave a drink! Last time I just had a seltzer but the food is amazing!! the ribs are to die for and I had the steak taco thesteak melted in my mouth..You got to check this place out!!! If you're looking for really good Mexican food, this isn't the place. The food wasn't bad, but this is more of a Mexican fusion... place, and they only have small plates and appetizers. You will pay a lot of money for mediocre drinks and decent-tasting food,but it's nothing special and you'll still be hungry when you leave. The interior doesn't have much atmosphere. The walls arepretty bare, and the paint colors clash with the lighting, so there's not much ambience. They had a different menu than waslisted online, so I had to settle for something that wasn't what I wanted. Service was pretty good, and so were thecomplimentary chips and salsa. I'm giving it three stars, because it wasn't the worst place I've ever been, it just may not bemy taste. I like authentic Mexican food, and this place is run entirely by white people. I did enjoy the elote, and my boyfriendliked the wings. I really wanted enchiladas, but they didn't have them. I also wanted flan for dessert, but they didn't have adessert menu. They told us when we walked in that it was their anniversary and they were doing something special, but it seemslike it was just mediocre margaritas. This was our first time here. The service was AMAZING! Our server was extremely nice and on top of everything! We ordered the... Carne Asada and Steak Fajitas along with the Elote & Fried Plantains and everything was DELICIOUS! We also tried the minimargarita flight and loved all the flavors. BLT sandwich with bacon jam in it is marvelous. Their chips and salsa are always fresh. The mimosa party was so fun and... refreshing. Staff is attentive and friendly. They offer plenty to do in their restaurant on the weekends like face painting inthe early afternoon for the kids and live music at evening. This place is very busy. Get sure you make reservations.
