I went to khan market here in Centreville and requested 3lbs lbs of ground beef 80/20. The gentleman pulled out beef and weighed... at 4.26lbs. It had some silver skin and oxidized spots and said do you want me to clean it. I said yes thinking he will onlytrim a little the weigh again. When he finished he bagged everything with the label 4.26lbs. I said I have a recipe and need tomake sure I have the right weight and asked him to weigh it. It weighed in at 2.99 lbs after trimming but I paid for 4.26lbs. Iasked if this is normal and he said yes. I did the math and in total I paid $23.39 for 3lbs of 80/20 ground beef which comes outto $7.79 per lbs for 80/20. That's too steep. First and last time for me. Read more

Owner is beyond rude. Selection of this store is a mess. Be sure to check the expiration dates because some of the daal and... masala are expired. We bought frozen chicken from there, and it tasted old. Definitely will not be going back Update: I wentback today after the change in management. The store is beautiful. This store is a ripoff / most of the products are not price tagged / At the payment counter one finds a rude and even an... offensive lady. Recommend it would be better to miss this store not only for sake of economy but also customer respect. AbusalehShariff This guy is a new management (may be 3-4 months old) getting business on the old management's reputation and even oldphotos and reviews. Yelp has to develop a better profiling when similar business occupies replacing the better old one. Thisnew management is awkward, they look at the face of the customer and decide a price. The lady (young- a rude girl) at thecounter must be replaced and the pricing policy has to be transparent. The butcher shop is not the one which I like to go.
