I stopped at a nearby hotel on my way home from vacation and asked the front desk clerk where would be a good place for my... family to eat dinner. She recommended Greenvillage without hesitation. She even recommended the chili as a must have dish. Iput the address in my GPS and headed out. After getting parked we went inside and were greeted by smiling faces and the aroma ofgreat food. We were seated almost immediately and the server attended to our drink order right away. My daughter decided on thepizza burger, my fiancée had the roast turkey and filing, and I settled on the meatloaf. None of us were really wanting chilithat night or we probably would have ordered it at the recommendation. We all took bites of each other's meals so that we couldget a full experience. While I typically prefer meatloaf over burgers, I had wished that I ordered the pizza burger myself aftertasting it. I'm not sure who's idea that creation was, but it was much better than I could have imagined. It's difficult to putinto words, but imagine a cheese pizza on a bun and you'd be on the right track. The turkey had great flavor and the fillingwas made in an unfamiliar way than what I'm used to. I couldn't tell what they used to make it, but it was far better than anyfiling (stuffing) that I've had previously. My meatloaf did seem ever so slightly overcooked, but that didn't really affect theoverall flavor. It was as delicious as you'd expect from what seemed like a family owned diner. I've been eating at this place for many years and it's always the same great food good prices and a great staff . The cooks are... very good at what they do, and the servers are super friendly and tend to all your needs . It's one of those places you go andjust feel relaxed as you sit back and have a great meal in a pleasant atmosphere. I've told the staff many times to not changea thing and they haven't because it's always great everytime I eat there . I live right around the corner but had a little time to kill between appointments so I stopped there. Although I really wanted... breakfast I got there closer to 11 am. The place was mostly full, with families, elderly and couples making up the lunch crowd.The service was prompt, the guys good and affordable, everything just like you'd expect from a good, family dinner.
