We went to enjoy my friend's birthday along with 7 or 8 people. It took about 30 minutes for half of us to be seated while the... rest were seated right away. Once seated at two separate booths, the server asked for all of our drink orders but only askedabout appetizers for one of the tables not both. We thought she'd come back for the rest of our appetizer orders but she neverdid. She even served the appetizers to the other table but I had to flag her down and tell her we wanted an appetizer, toobefore we could eventually get ours. Our appetizer was finally delivered just before our entre. As for the main meal, I askedfor my steak covered in onions and mushrooms and for the steak to be pink inside. The steak so so well done, not pink at allthat it was really dry and hard to eat. Finally, once it was time to pay, instead of asking us how to split the checks, theyassumed I was paying for mine as well as my friend's. I didn't mind paying for her but I was never even asked. They also requirea mandatory tip which I really don't think they deserved since both the food and service weren't worth both the price and thewait time. I'm not one to complain much and I try not to make a scene but that food and service was horrible. This was my firsttime in their restaurant and with all of the other places I could go, I'd be surprised if I tried theirs ever again. Read more

Wanted to enjoy a good sit down dinner with friends and we were greeted with a waiter named Shawn. He was very rush rush with... us. We haven’t decided what we wanted yet, he came to ask about 5 times in the first 10 minutes of us sitting down. Didn’tknow that it was multiple gravy’s over the one dinner so he was confusing all 5 of us. He informed us he can be sarcastic. Isaid I guess I could as well. He said as long as it’s respectful!!!! So sarcastically he kept asking white or brown gravy, sweet or unsweetened raspberry tea. It’s a whole lot more than that the entire time. We needed refills and when he finallycame back again to get refills he left the empty glasses with us. Until we asked him to please clear them. He would hold emptyglasses from the top and ask if we wanted the straw!!!! Now his hand is over the top of the glass, why will I continue usingthat straw? The meal with brown and white sauce came out with just brown sauce after he was so sarcastic about which sauce.. andit was to be white on the chicken and brown over potatoes. The kids with us mind you under 18, and he did not change anythinghe would say. Inappropriate to use profanity language to your customers, let alone in front of the minors at our table. The onechild 16yo, was on the end, and he would literally lean into her, reach over her space to sit a glass or plate to the otherchild. Oh so much, we are very upset. The young girls were very uncomfortable. He stood at a computer and kept watching us andlistening to our conversations, and would come back saying he saw eyes watching him, so he was seeing what was up… and why hekept itching his head, than pulled a bag of trash I believe, than directly back to our table… touch top of our glass to thinkwe are using the same straw his hands were touching? Very disappointed. Worst experience ever. Service we had last month wasamazing but this one is a turn off. The greeters inside the door were fantastic by the way. Read more

We were greeted with smiles and enthusiasm which is rare these days. My service animal became irritated with a gentleman outside... for some reason which was not like her at all so we decided to take something to go. Our server Christie actually accompanied usto our vehicle so my service animal would be more comfortable and that is where she took our order. She even brought us somebread to the car! When our order was ready she brought everything out to us! I have never had better service from any otherrestaurant in my life! And to think this was all to accommodate my service animal, who I might add is like my child and I adorewith my very soul! But this server did not know this but treated her with the amount of respect and concern as she would ahuman. Well that just blew my mind and I must say Texas Roadhouse you are extremely lucky to have this young lady Christie whotakes the word customer service to a whole other level! You better hang onto that one!!! Read more

We had a great Sunday lunch at the Chambersburg location. We were served by a wonderful waitress Tammy, she was quick and... friendly and made sure we never had to wait on drinks my favorite. The food is pretty decent. We all had steaks. The sweetpotatoes were our favorite. A staff member named Chloe checked in on us she was very nice and friendly as well. Read more

This seems to be an extremely busy location as the parking lot is always full. However they do a great job of getting you seated... quickly. The chicken dishes are spot on here and essentially are less risky than ordering a steak. Too many times lately thesteaks just don't come out cooked as ordered. I ordered a ribeye medium rare that came out well done making it tough like asirloin. The key lime pie margaritas are out of this world for those margarita enthusiasts. We've been fortunate enough to getvery friendly waitresses/waiters four out of our last five visits. Overall, great experiences! Read more
