I'm confused as to the poor reviews, we loved our dinner at Marius! We were seated right away, and our waitress was lovely and... attentive. My burger was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had, and well worth the price. My daughter is 2.5 and apicky eater and she devoured the kids pizza, I tried a slice myself and it was fantastic (My partner thought so as well). Hisfish and chips were good, but he agreed after trying a bite of my burger that it was the winner of the evening. The service was great, food came quick, the waitress was fast and effective, food seemed to be made with care. The reason for... the low rating is that the ingredients are very clearly low quality. The calamari had a bitter taste to it. It was cookedadequately but I believe that it was most likely frozen calamari which was gross and I couldn't eve finish it. The poutine wasokay but the smoked meat is again, obviously low quality. The pizza was okay, but really none of it was anything special. One ofthe things that really got me annoyed was the immense amount of wasps!! I mean like at least 7 wasps at each table. I'msurprised no one was stung, but man was it annoying!! This restaurant needs better management, less cheap frozen foods and maybesomething to cover the terrasse so you don't feel like you're dining with a bunch of annoying wasps.. again I would like theemphasize that the staff is amazing and not a problem. This is a problem the owners have, I wonder if they have dined on theirown terrasse with those annoying wasps ???????????? Read more
