Menu for The Farmhouse Retreat in Chandler, TX

I had put a full payment down last Feb of 2021 for a wedding for my son and future daughter in law. In Jan of this year they... decided that with all the financial hurdles that Covid has left family and friends with it was best to ?elope?. I requested arefund from Farmhouse. I spoke with Ashley who said per their contracts ( which we never even signed) that they keep 20% fordeposit. I was fine with that. Then she said that you get partial refund and then other on the day your wedding was for if itgot rebooked. Ashley said but since yours was on a Monday I know we won?t be rebooking so I will give you the refund anyways.Ashley sent me a partial refund only. She still owes me $1458.67. When confronted she brought up the contract which again Ireminded her we never signed one so there for we?re not under the contract and she clearly stated in text she would refund me infull. She has not stopped responding and ignoring all text and messages. Leaving me no choice but to post a bad review to warnothers of the way this place conducts business. If you want a true Farmhouse / Country style wedding - Get away? Farmhouse retreat is the place to go. The 1800?s theme was... amazing!! We even had an outdoor shower that would have been amazing in the 70* weather we booked it in! There is even an olddown ?downtown? area. It is a must see when looking at venues! Ashley is a very personable, lovable person that makes you feelvery welcoming!\n\nMy husband and I were just down for the weekend. My cousin was getting married in the area. Not at theretreat but, I loved the vibe Ashley had going on AIRBNB so I booked the Across the Pond cabin. They did have a wedding bookedthat weekend. It was for her family members but, we had a wedding of our own & wouldn?t be around to much. They were soaccommodating that her & her husband made us feel like part of the family! Beautiful country style wedding venue with a lake and plenty of fun places to explore, get ready and take photos!

Great place for a weekend getaway! This is a gorgeous outdoor/indoor venue for a wedding but it?s also a fun place to stay to... get away from it all. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay; the property is beautiful and the hot tub underneath the stars wasamazing. Ashley was very helpful the entire time. The cabins are very clean and vary in size. Pro tip- call ahead of time todouble check the kitchen situation; some of the cabins have kitchenettes and others don?t but there is an outdoor kitchenavailable (BYO spatula and tongs!) Very fun, cute place in the beautiful countryside. Read more
