Went with my friends on a Saturday night, and the place was completely dead. Monday and Wednesday nights seem to be the active... days, so whatever. The menu was a stained sheet of paper with a QR code to their online menu and some specials. There was notable service, and the food had to be ordered online before you tell the bartender your order. I've ordered from a QR code menubefore, so I was optimistic, while my friends were a little perplexed. We scanned the QR code and that's when everything wentwrong. Half of us were able to scour the menu, pick food, and head to the checkout. I managed to put in my card details but thewebsite immediately froze upon processing my orders. The other half were incapable of accessing the online menu at all, thewebsite server refusing to load. Then the site crashed for all of us. We alerted the bartender who was kind enough to take out apen and paper and do it the old school way, however the lack of paper menu was really baffling to me at this point. Those of uswho managed to put in our orders were reassured that the orders hadn't been accepted yet, but a website crashing with our creditcard details didn't make us feel any better. But the bartender and another worker assured us the food would be out. We orderedmultiple Po Boys, and waited. It was a long wait, but the food was delicious. I got a blackened pork belly po boy on ciabattabread that was greasy in all the right ways, if a little salty. My friends who ordered shrimp po boys were a little unsatisfiedwith the size of the shrimps. But we ate, we dined, we paid, and we left. Overall, it was a ... meh? Experience. I wouldn'treturn again personally, maybe if it was a busy night with live blues shows, but the QR code and lack of table service left asour taste in my mouth. Also, the restaurant website requested a tip despite there being no table service. In my opinion, ifthere is no table service, there should be an option to tip the cooks/bartender directly... or n Read more

Very DIY. The French bread imported from New Orleans is the only way to do it right. How about some hot sausage next? Choose... mayo over remoulade for a proper dressed po'boy though. Read more

I went here on a weekday evening before music started. I was told to order at the bar, so I did that and then waited at my... table. There were boxes everywhere, tables that had stuff all over them, etc. Water was given to me at the bar when I asked forit, but no one ever came to refill at the table. Shortly before getting the food, I grabbed a fork out of the canister on thetable, and a swarm of gnats flew out and swarmed my face. They then landed all over the table and condiments on it. I movedtables and my food was brought out. The food was okay, but it did not have as much cajun flavor as I expected (I got mussels andthe Barataria bay bacon boy). I had to go back up to the bar to pay, but by this time it was full of people. The bartenderignored me for at least 5 minutes while I called on him repeatedly, to the point that another customer had to tell him to takecare of me. Read more

Seriously delish NOLA goodness here. Menu rotates based on freshness and quality. We had two amazing soft shell crab dishes.... Great beer selection. Sweet live 3-piece jazz on Mondays and Wednesdays. Read more
