We used to go there every other month over the past 10 years or so. Yes, it has an 80s vibe, but the food was always excellent... and so was the service. Not any more. I think this place is under new management. Raw oysters smelled like a sewer, so wereturned them. Calamari was tasteless, and I pulled a long hair from peel and eat shrimp. This is the last time I went there.Really pity, this was a good place. Read more

Casual sea food restaurant. Our server was very good, I ordered swordfish and I found the filet was small but delicious.... Potatoes were fine but veggies were undercooked and hard to eat. I was expecting more from a place that came highly recommended.Instead we found it mediocre at best. I don't mind paying 30 dollars a plate for a good well cooked meal, I found this place abit pricey for the lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. They need to think about the chefs performance and output. Notvery professional in my opinion. My wife ordered horseradish crusted tilapia that topping was not crusted, but wet and had afishy smell and usually tilapia doesn't have that smell unless it's old. Her veggies were also very under cooked. We won't waistour money here again. Read more

Excellent food, drinks, deserts and service that is always on-point. Our travel stop-over on way to the beach for the past... several years. NEVER fails to meet and exceed our expectations. Even finicky eaters (adult son) came away saying best meal fromstart to finish he's ever had. Read more

Late 80s, early 90s vibe. I have wanted to try this place for a few years, but just kept feeling put off by the menu that... seemed...well...mediocre for the price. Finally we went, after seeing all these reviews that added up to a 4.5. Unfortunately,it was exactly what the menu promised - mediocre. The server was great - she was attentive and pleasant - she and the otherservice staff were the only reason I didn't rate this a 1, to be honest. The seafood we had (I had crab legs, my husband hadthe scallop special) was cooked nicely. That's about as far as it gets. I had never seen or had clams on the half shell before,so I thought I'd try a half dozen. I won't do that again. Not a great flavor, and three of the six were grainy (as in, not wellcleaned) on the surface. My husband had a garden salad with the most boring balsamic dressing he'd ever had. I mean, y'all, upyour herb and seasoning game. He also had the scallop special. The scallops, once again, were cooked nicely, but for the price, there were three scallops swimming in a corn puree that he said tasted like creamed corn with a little basil oil drizzled on. Iordered 1/2 lb of crab legs. Again, they were cooked well. I had to ask for more lemon wedges, and had to heavily salt themelted butter in order to have any flavor. I was honestly happy we didn't get any dishes with veggies, because the plates thatpassed us had little piles of vegetables that looked boiled and also unseasoned (though that has nothing to do with this review,as we didn't taste them). Our litmus test for good seafood is that it needs to be worth the price and better than Red Lobster.I'm afraid this wasn't it. Read more

Crowded but seated right away. Actually a moron followed hostess to my booth when i pointed out to her she sat wrong couple, she... didnt hesitate, apologized and promised me a better table. ( Now that is customer service right there- and ussually hostess is ahistorical nightmare for me. Also made sure moron knew I was in more comfortable seats). Sara great waitress and kept thingsmoving in crowded setting. Drinks were top shelf- good bartender. Food was good, fresh reasonably priced. Highlight was tilapiawhich can be a very basic presentation , however, they pulled it off with freshness and coating proper amount breadcrumbs andseasonings. Nice visit. Read more
