First time here last night and it was amazing. Great service and yummy food and my beverage was delicious. I'd 1million% go... back. The restaurant is in an old historical building across from another awesome place, Pipers Candy. Read more
Feels like an older hotel situated in the heart of downtown Chariton, Ia. Seated quickly and our server Payton was right on cue... getting drink orders. I had the bacon mac and cheese with chicken added and she had the Carolina burger. Everything came outquickly and cooked very well. Mac n cheese sauce was very creamy and chix was nice and tender. Wife's burger was very wellpresented. I must say they did a great job in the kitchen. Food was extremely delicious and plentiful. We had an outstanding meal at the Iron Horse Charitone on 4/15/22 - everything was delicious, our server was pleasant, efficient... & kept our drinks filled - the onion rings & shrimp batter was super delicious & the Bread pudding was perfect - good cocktailstoo!
